We have drawn up this Privacy Statement to make it clear to you that we respect the privacy of all the personal data with which we come in contact at Van Uitert Companies B.V. and subsidiaries (the group hereinafter referred to as Van Uitert Companies). For this reason, we process and store the personal data collected by us very carefully and, in doing so, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) at all times.
For the sake of clarity, Van Uitert B.V. fulfills the role of controller in Van Uitert Companies. This means that if you have any questions and comments, you should contact Van Uitert B.V.

In Van Uitert Companies, your personal data may only be accessed by those persons who are entitled to do so by virtue of their position or in the context of a specific project. Purposes of the data processing:
Implementation of agreements
Your personal data is processed by us to enable us to enter into and implement agreements and maintain the resulting relationships, including any related marketing activities. To do this, we process
- First name and surname
- Address
- Telephone number
- E-mail address
- Company name
- any financial or tax-relevant data and the related correspondence
We use this personal data because it is necessary for the agreement or the performance of the agreement. We keep this personal data for as long as it is required to properly provide our services and implement agreements. We will then destroy this data unless we are legally obliged to keep it for a longer period of time.
Order processing
When you place an order with us, we use your personal data in order to handle the order neatly and properly. We may therefore provide this information to a delivery service in order to have the order delivered to you. We also receive information about your payment from your bank or credit card company.
To do this, we use your name and address details, telephone number, billing address, e-mail address, payment details and date of birth. We need this information because of the contract that we enter into with you. We keep this information until your order has been completed and for seven years after that (which is the legal retention obligation). This data is not shared with third parties. In very exceptional cases, we are forced to keep some data for ten years or longer, such as subsequent delivery of materials or another service to optimize our services.
Contact or registration form
You can use the contact form to ask us about our company and services and to make requests. To do this, we use your name and address details, telephone number and e-mail address. We use this personal data as part of the basic agreement. We will keep this information until we are sure that you are satisfied with our response. If you have placed an order, we will keep the information until the order has been processed and for seven years after that (the legal retention period).
Newsletter
If you wish, you can subscribe to our newsletter. You will then regularly receive an e-mail with information, news and developments related to Van Uitert Companies and you will be kept informed of our products, services and special offers. You can cancel this subscription at any time. Every newsletter contains an Unsubscribe link.
Your e-mail address will only be added to the list of subscribers with your explicit consent. That data will be retained until you cancel the subscription.
Provision of data to third parties
We will under no circumstances give your personal data to other companies or institutions, except if this is necessary for our services or if we are legally obliged to do so (for example, if the police require this in connection with a suspected crime). We will notify you in advance about which other organizations will receive your personal data.
Social media buttons
On our website, that are buttons that can be used to promote or share pages on the Facebook and LinkedIn social networks. These buttons are realized by means of code supplied by Facebook and LinkedIn and they become active when you click on them.

Security
We take appropriate security measures to prevent misuse of and unauthorized access to your personal data. Among other things, we take the following security measures:
- logical access control on our laptops and systems, using passwords
- physical measures for access security; including access chips, access control and camera security in our building and on our property
- we work digitally as much as possible: obsolete paper documents are destroyed by a certified company

Van Uitert Companies reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Statement. Changes will be published on this website. You should therefore check this Privacy Statement regularly so that you are aware of any changes.

When you have a relationship with Van Uitert Companies, you can view your personal data after submitting a written request. If the overview provided by us contains inaccuracies, you can request us in writing to change the data or have it removed. If you have any questions or wish to know which personal data we have about you, you can always contact us.
