In 1963, Van Uitert B.V. started with the production of structural metal products and greenhouses in Dongen, The Netherlands. These products were intended for export to the U.S.A. When the exchange rate of the dollar decreased dramatically, the decision was made to change the core-business and to focus on the production of transport systems and special machines.
Many orders from the beverage industry caused a steady growth of Van Uitert B.V. in the following years. During this period, Van Uitert B.V. already proved to be a good and reliable supplier of transport systems and special machines.
Nowadays Van Uitert B.V. is a leading, international supplier of transport systems and special machines for the bottling & packaging industry and other related industries. Because we continuously develop and apply advanced and improved technologies and because we are very much customer-oriented, we are confident we will be able to expand on our leading position now and in the future.
Future of Van Uitert B.V.
After the death of Gerrit van Uitert, his heirs let it be known that, for reasons of their own, they wish to transfer their shares in Speciaalmachinefabriek van Uitert to the ‘incumbent’ co-shareholder (Mr Winfried van Dieën) and to their cousin Mr Arthur van Uitert.
After intensive yet cordial negotiations, the van Uitert heirs and Messrs Winfried van Dieën and Arthur van Uitert have reached full agreement on the transfer of shares, with the ‘incumbent’ shareholder now holding the majority.
The main aim of the discussions was to guarantee the future of the company in its present form and the employment aspects of the workforce. As part of those negotiations, it was important to create conditions in which the distinctive factors in the fields of quality, reliability, service and flexibility would remain intact for Van Uitert B.V’s valued customers.
We are delighted to announce that these basic principles and conditions have been met in full.
As of 2005, the board of management at Speciaalmachinefabriek van Uitert B.V. will consist of Mr Winfried van Dieën as General Managerand Mr Arthur van Uitert as Commercial Manager.
